Defender Blair castle horse trials

Between the 21st - 23rd of August, we kicked off our first Defender Blair Castle Horse Trials, one of Scotland’s top equestrian events, drawing 45,000 spectators over four incredible days.

Months of preparation led up to the event, with our team working around the clock. A refrigerated trailer was delivered to Wilde Thyme in the run-up, where a dedicated team focused on prepping food. Once on-site at Blair Atholl, we catered to over 300 guests daily, serving up 4 days of breakfast buffets, buffet lunches featuring roast and seafood stations, a la carte lunches, afternoon teas, and private dinners.

The effort was immense, and the results were unforgettable! This event highlighted the amazing teamwork and dedication of everyone involved.
