Wilde Thyme work closely with some of Scotland’s top suppliers to ensure the freshness, quality and seasonality of the produce used in our menus. Clients are more aware of the food industry and sourcing than ever before. and are demanding healthier, more free-range and “real foods”, with a keen interest in the source of the content of their menus.
Our chefs visit new suppliers and growers and the story of the product is important to us. It is essential to us to know that the welfare and processes are of the highest standard and that the supplier can achieve the quality we are looking for. Our chefs have great respect for the produce and have a clear understanding of what happens to it before it is delivered to the kitchens at Wilde Thyme.
