The weather will change, the food will change.
But mesquite Barbecue is already getting into its own groove.
The restaurant, which opened just outside of Denver a few years ago, has been a local fixture for decades.
The restaurant, located at 1715 East Main Street in Mesquite, is one of several in the area that serve barbecue.
But it’s not just the meat that gets a barbecue flavor from mesquite.
It also is the flavor of the meat, and mesquite barbecues are the place to get the best.
“We don’t have the whole thing, but there’s a lot of different types of mesquite, so you have different types and textures,” said owner Steve Stamey.
“You can get a big slab of it, you can get it with a lot more fat, you have a little bit of that to it.
You get all kinds of flavors.”
Stamey says mesquite is one the best types of wood used for barbecuing.
“The flavors are really, really strong, so we’re very proud of the way it looks,” he said.
The barbecue meat is often marinated and seasoned with a combination of spices and herbs.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other kinds of meat that go well with it.
Stameys barbecue meat comes in different shapes and sizes.
You can get the meat as it comes off the grill, or you can add it to a barbeque bun, and even a sandwich.
“That’s what we like to do with it, add the meat to the meatloaf,” he explained.
“If you have any meat left on the bone, you’re going to use it for that,” Stameys barbecued meat adds.
Stames meat is one part brisket, and one part ribs, so it has a lot going on inside it.
“It’s got the ribs, but it also has the ribs and brisket,” he continued.
“We like to go with the ribbed meat and just take it to the grill and just heat it up and see what happens.”
Stames barbecue meat gets some great sauce.
He uses an apple cider vinegar, but the sauce is usually sweetened with lemon, apple and apple juice.
Stameies barbecue meat also has a good barbecue sauce that comes in a jar.
It has a strong, smoky flavor, and it’s good on everything.
Stomeys barbecue sauce is a nice addition to any mesquite sauce, but I’m most often served it with the brisket.
It’s good with ribs, wings and some grilled fish.
The brisket is the main ingredient.
It goes on a sandwich, or a sandwich bun.
The pork and chicken are the sides.
“So you get that big pork roast and the beef, and you get the chicken and the pork, and the sides, the vegetables, the sauce,” he added.
“And the sauce, it goes on top of that, and that’s pretty much the basic ingredients of what you’re doing with the mesquite.”
The sauce is made by combining some barbecue sauce with a mixture of herbs and spices, and Stameythes sauces are great on anything.
