We know it’s an incredibly tender dish, but we can’t help but think that’s because we just love barbecue sauce.
We’ve even made a few variations, like the “pork-on-the-bone” version we’ve featured here.
And then there’s this one that goes a little bit further than just barbecue sauce and adds a lot of spice to your dish.
Now, we don’t know about you, but this sauce recipe is pretty much our new go-to sauce.
It’s so delicious, and it tastes so much better than the barbecuing sauce we were making before.

How to Make the Ultimate Barbecue Sauce for a Grilled Chicken 1.
Put all the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until chicken is tender and bubbly.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic, onion, bay leaf, mustard seeds, and ground turkey.
Stir in the chicken broth, then stir in the remaining ingredients.
Add the mixture to a large ziploc bag and seal tightly.
Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour, then pour into a shallow dish and top with a few slices of BBQ chicken.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
