A new restaurant in New Jersey has opened to much fanfare.
The “Barbecue Grill” is a joint venture between The Black Barbecue Company, a franchise of Carolina BBQ and the owner of a nearby barbecue restaurant.
It will serve barbecue in a wood-fired grill.
The new restaurant will be called the Black Barbecues BBQ Grill and will be opened in late June.
It is being billed as the first barbecue joint in the New Jersey area to serve charcoal.
The Black Barburys BBQ Grill is in the historic downtown of Jersey City.
It is the only joint of its kind in the state of New Jersey, according to The New York Times.
The restaurant will feature five charcoal-grilled pitas, ribs, chicken, pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork and bacon.
The restaurant’s menu will also feature grilled meats from Carolina BBQ, but the menu is currently unavailable.
“It will be a barbecue experience in a new way,” co-owner of The Black Barchas BBQ Grill Robert B. Boulton told The Times.
He added that the restaurant will also have “the best barbecue in the city” and will have its own outdoor patio.
The barbecue is currently available at the Black Basket BBQ and Smokehouse on the corner of State Street and New York Avenue.
A Facebook page for the restaurant says it will be open for reservations through June 7.
